Amazing recreation Captain Jack's Davenport Desk with side drawers and doors. Stunning carved wood information. Curved rope design along the bottom foot location. Top functions an enclosed lidded box with scrolled rope woodwork above the writing top for quills and ink wells. Drop-front design enabled added working space without taking up much room on a ship. (Also called a Captains Writing Desk or Secretary by some.). Likewise included is a very rare matching bench on castors/wheels. The leather seat of the bench flips over to expose a board for checkers or chess! There is likewise storage room under the seat. Strong wood, in GREAT condition! I will certainly not ship this product.
